United Kingdom

Perfect Chance Foundation supports children and young people with disabilities, their parents and siblings in the United Kingdom and Ghana. Our projects and activities are:

Family Support

Perfect Chance Foundation provides a range of support services to ease the burden of care on families, carers and parents of disabled children.

We support families with disabled children in Greenwich who face real challenges. Many parents we support feel lost when trying to access SEN services and/or struggle to get the right support for their children. Without this help, stress builds up, and families feel isolated.

70% of parents of disabled children we support, report high levels of stress and poor mental health, making it even harder to access extra help, respite care and even therapies.

We provide emotional and practical support, help with parenting problems, money issues and parenting skill. We find school places for the children, respite care and many more.

Do you have a child with disability and need help, Please email us at admin@perfectchancefoundation.org

Distinguished Parents Forum

Perfect Chance Foundation organises weekly forums for parents, carers and volunteers to discuss issues affecting caring for disabled children and young people.

Feel Well: Parents do often feel overwhelmed and isolated. Additionally, they experience significant emotional strain, with symptoms of depression, anxiety, and hopelessness.  Perfect Chance Foundation provide workshops, one-to-one support, and peer groups where families can share experiences and find help.

Age Well: Long-term support systems, including peer groups and advocacy tools, will give parents and carers the skills to create healthy, stable home lives as their children grow. The forums encourage parents to get more involved in the life of their children. They raise issues on parenting, school, community and other issues to which they offer their views. Practical Help for Parents: This includes:
One-to-One Advocacy: Helping parents to prepare for school meetings, understand their rights, and communicate their child’s needs clearly.

Advice and Signposting: Connecting families to services like respite care, mental health support, and financial advice through Greenwich Council and other community partners.

Workshops and Peer Groups:
Our workshops focus on stress management, building confidence to advocate for children, and creating healthy family routines.
Monthly peer support groups allow parents to share their experiences, learn from each other, and feel less alone.  Volunteers and facilitators with lived experience run workshops, peer groups, and advocacy sessions so parents get advice that feels relatable and practical. Children and Young People

Perfect Chance Foundation supports children and young people with various forms of disability, their siblings, parents, families and carers. We have programs to cater for each and every one of them. The ages of the children and young people we support range from 5 to 19 years including up to 25 years for those with special needs.

By supporting parents to navigate the system, more children get the right educational support and a better chance to thrive.  Perfect Chance Foundation believes that children and young people should be able to belong, contribute in their own way and thrive in the community. We are committed to empowering and enabling young disabled people to develop skills based on their interests and needs.

We offer opportunities for children with disabilities to build on their social interactions, independent living skills, and support to boost their confidence. This support is designed to remove some of the barriers faced by children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and mental health difficulties enabling them to reach their full potential.

The youth forum is where young people discuss issues affecting them, plan activities and make their voices heard by contributing to programs at Perfect Chance Foundation.

Our dedicated volunteers lead children and young people through playtime processes to do interesting activities which they enjoy to acquire relevant skills they can use to improve quality of their lives.
